The Auto Vault in Moon Karts is a vital feature that allows players to generate fuel, an essential resource for racing, through staking their unused cards. This streamlined approach to fuel management integrates strategic planning with the game's play-to-earn economy.
Players can stake their cards in the Auto Vault to passively generate fuel. The amount of fuel generated depends on the rarity and type of the cards staked, with higher rarity cards contributing to a faster generation rate. Each card's individual fuel generation rate is summed up to determine the overall fuel generation rate, encouraging players to strategically select cards for optimal fuel accumulation.
Minimum Staking Time and Cooldown: Cards must be staked for a minimum duration to generate fuel. Removing them before this period ends triggers a cooldown period, temporarily preventing their use in races.
Fuel Generation Formula: The formula for fuel generation considers the combined rates of all staked cards. Players are encouraged to optimize their card collection for better fuel generation, considering card synergies and combinations.
Scripts Requirement & Auto Vault Upgrades: In order to generate fuel, players must also stake at least 10 Script tokens. Scripts are the stablecoin in the Arcade Colony ecosystem. The Auto Vault requires staking 10 Scripts for every additional card slot that a player can stake at any given time. Long-term, in order to generate larger quantities of fuel, players will be able to upgrade their Auto Vault by spending & staking Scripts and COLONY tokens.
Fuel is a critical resource needed to participate in multiplayer races. Fuel cannot be tradable or transferred. Players have a fuel storage capacity, and any generated fuel exceeding this limit is lost. This system urges players to actively use or manage their fuel reserves to avoid wastage. Upgrading cards enhances their fuel generation potential, providing an incentive for players to invest in their collection.
Better cars in Moon Karts consume more fuel per each race. The fuel consumed in any given race is determined by the type, rarity, and level of all the cards used in the race.
Coming soon in Moon Karts is the Academy, a dashboard similar to the Auto Vault in which you can stake your cards to earn Airdrop Points. Over time, players will periodically receive airdrops of various types of cards like drivers, boosters, car parts, etc.
Airdrop Points are a non-transferable currency that affect the type and frequency of airdrops. When your receive an airdrop, the Airdrop Points will be deducted from your current balance.
